Haven of Love’s annual Christmas program brings hope for women in recovery as they celebrate the holiday along with their families. It’s an incredible time of laughter and joy as each participant and her family enjoy a fantastic meal and receive Christmas gifts.

Haven of Love serves the women incarcerated in Lew Sterrett Jail by helping them understand their patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting associated with co-dependency. Then, how to begin changing these lifelong habits through a Christian perspective and the power of Jesus Christ.

Then, how to begin changing these lifelong habits through a Christian perspective and the power of Jesus Christ. Co-dependency is a word often used to describe the behavior of persons who have been affected by difficult life circumstances. The curriculum we use teaches the women to use the three-part process of identify, detach, and decide to to move through co-dependency and bring real change into their life.
At The Haven of Love, we are dedicated to empowering women who have bravely overcome the challenges of prison, drug addiction, and the sex industry. Our mission is to offer them a chance to begin anew and rebuild their lives. We provide a safe environment for healing through our transitional living program, up to 12 months.
